Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing support: could start with re-telling part of the original story using the annotated story map for support, concentrating on accurate pronunciation of each phrase. They can add more sections as they increase in confidence.
Pupils working at greater depth: could be challenged them to include extra detail using different vocabulary from previous units eg. trois pizzas, un grand hamburger, et un gâteau – three pizzas, a big hamburger, and a cake.
