Recap and recall

Challenge the children in pairs to name five items in French that can be found in a school bag. Display the Presentation: Classroom objects as a reminder, and to rehearse pronunciation.

Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support: 

Could use fewer classroom items; instead of the Tu as..? question, simply name the item name and answer oui or non to say if they have it or not.

 

Pupils working at greater depth: 

Could be challenged to construct sentences independently using the full range of vocabulary; could begin to develop extended sentences using the conjunctions et – and, and mais – but.
