Could work in a mixed ability groups, and draw and label their character, using the activity sheet for support.

 

Children working at greater depth

Once they have used ideas from the activity sheet, could challenge to use prior knowledge and bilingual dictionaries to add their own words and phrases to their drawing, for example, further preferences, age, favourite food.
