Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support:

Should use four compass points only (nord, sud, est, ouest) with a pre-printed compass; should use these four directions to travel around the map.

Pupils working at greater depth:

Should be challenged to link directions together; could develop extra rules for the map game, e.g. forfeits for landing on the dragon, mountains or woods.
