Pupils needing extra support
In supported groups if required, children can use the Knowledge Organiser: French -Y5 – Verbs in a French week to practise forming phrases on the spinner for the verb ‘chanter’ – to sing, asking for phrases out of sequence e.g. I sing, we sing, he sings.
Pupils working at greater depth
Could challenge the children to use the Activity: In the news to select and work out what the missing verb is, then use their spinners and learning so far to work out the correct form of the verb and fill the gap in the French phrase.
