Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support
Could work in groups using just a few components of the writing frame to practise saying what type of house they live in, adding who they live with when they are more confident, for example, j’habite dans une maison avec mon frère – I live in a house with my brother.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should challenge to create longer descriptions to include all of the elements of the writing frame, ensuring accurate pronunciation and spelling. They may also be able to use adjectives to make their work more interesting.
