Recap and recall

Hand out a whiteboard and pen to each child. Display the Presentation: Quizmaster and ask the children to write down a question to quiz their classmates. Use the activity to recap learning from the previous lesson.

Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Can use the Activity: Weather diary (support) to sketch their findings. May need adult support to read and record weather measurements.

Pupils working at greater depth

Can add labels or sentences to their sketches to describe the weather using the correct vocabulary. Could consider how they think the weather might change in one, three and six months’ time.
