Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support
Could be the caller in their pair, allowing them to repeat the same call rather than having to generate ideas on the spot; could try a different response every time if responding to a call as improvisation practice.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should take turns being the caller and the responder in the paired task; could lead the class during the Wrapping up to keep everyone in time with their calls using gestures.
