Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could be paired with more confident children, allowing them to copy movement phrases from others; could have fewer movement phrases in the sequence; could repeat the same movement phrases.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should be encouraged to consider a wider range of dynamics in their movement phrases, e.g. changing the direction they are facing as they perform; could develop a new rhythm for a different animal and compose a different movement phrase; could perform the sequence with less repetition, i.e. performing the movement phrases twice instead of four times.
