Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could use a larger ball in an area of free space; could start slowly (i.e. walking and dribbling) and focus on using just one foot and technique (either the inside or outside of the foot) at a time.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could use a smaller ball and navigate around more obstacles, e.g. scattered cones, or through a smaller space; should be encouraged to use both of their feet when controlling the ball.
