Pupils needing extra support
Should use the Knowledge organiser as a visual prompt; could refer to the pictures on the Activity: Trimurti as a prompt for the actions in the Main event.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should discuss the significance of each form of God in helping Hindus understand what God does, using the terms creator, caretaker and destroyer accurately; should recognise similarities between the Trimurti and other beliefs about God explored earlier in the unit (for example, The Creator in Islam or Christianity); could create their own actions to represent each deity’s role and explain how these actions show God’s power to create, protect and renew; could use the Activity: Trimurti: extension version during the optional activity in the Main event; could suggest examples of when they have seen these roles in real life.
