Should complete the lyrics for Thank you on page 1 of the Activity: Songs of thanks, which has a simpler structure; could use the Activity: Songs of thanks support version which has space to draw rather than write ideas; could listen to the songs again whilst working to inspire their ideas; could watch the video clips with subtitles.

Pupils working at greater depth:

Could write their own song instead of completing the lyrics on the Activity: Songs of thanks; could suggest why singing and music are an important way for some Christians to thank God.
