Display the Presentation: Retrieval pyramid and hand out whiteboards and pens. Working from bottom to top, ask the children to identify the keyword each definition refers to and write them on their whiteboards. Could look at image cards C or E which have shorter corresponding information that is easier to interpret; could have the words defined in the Presentation: Retrieval pyramid on display to choose from during the Recap and recall; could refer to the Knowledge organiser for definitions of ‘holy’, ‘sacred’ and ‘divine’.
