Could use the Resource: Varna: support version and link each varna to some characteristics and attributes linked to it; could use the Knowledge organiser to refer to the vocabulary and colours associated with each varna.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should consider the characteristics and attributes a person may show to gather negative karma, such as greed, selfishness and jealousy; should explore different colours (such as black) to represent negative karma and whether it could represent certain actions rather than others; should express their ideas about what happens to the atman when it is reincarnated in a new body.
