Could use the Resource: Knowledge organiser: Religion and worldviews – What is a prophet? as a prompt during class discussions; should work on the Activity: Muhammad and the Night Journey reflection rather than blank paper; could use the Presentation: Muhammad and the Night Journey to recap the story.
Pupils working at greater depth
Could discuss how believing in a final prophet might affect the way some Muslims live and practice their religion during the Presentation: The Shahadah; could add more than one idea to each section of the Presentation: Muhammad and the Night Journey; should make links with other stories about prophets throughout the lesson.
