Pupils needing extra support

Could rewatch the Pupil video: Stories about Jesus, pausing after each story to complete the activity in the Main event; could use the Knowledge organiser: What is a prophet? throughout the lesson to support them in remembering the meaning of teacher, prophet and Son of God; could use the Resource: Story stills to remind them of the key events in each story.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should write a sentence about when Jesus is seen as a teacher, a prophet or the Son of God alongside their pictures; could suggest which religion recognises Jesus in each role and why; should suggest why these stories are important to many Christians.
