Adaptive teaching

Could listen to the Guru Nanak story before the lesson using the Resource: The unseen flowers of Guru Nanak; could record their ideas using digital recording devices rather than using the Activity: Finding comfort; could use the Knowledge organiser during the Wrapping up.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should consider how different people may have interpreted Guru Nanak’s final message; could organise the different practices and funeral rites reflecting ideas about how comforting they might be for themselves and different people and justify their reasons; could write a short paragraph explaining their ideas about some of the practices and funeral rites that they think would be most and least comforting and justify their ideas.
