Identifying that some times are special and discussing some of the times that are special to the children.

Support and challenge

Adults can use the opportunity to:

  • Display the images of special times on the Presentation: Special times for children to use as a prompt in the Adult-led activity.
  • Provide the children with an audio recording device so that children can verbally describe a special time.
  • Challenge the children to explain why their special time was important and how it made them feel.
