Should use the Activity: Why do we have rules?: support version, which provides scaffolded ideas for rules and the reasons why they should be followed.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could be challenged to look at a rule from both home and school in the main activity, comparing the kinds of consequences in the different contexts; should be asked to explain whether they think the consequences of breaking the rules are fair, justifying their answers.
