Pupils needing extra support

Should refer to slide 2 of the Presentation: Bites and stings while completing the role play in order to scaffold their ideas; should be grouped to complete the role play with children who can provide peer support. 

Pupils working at greater depth

Could be given scenario 4 to role play, as this is a more severe example of bites and stings and alludes to an allergic reaction; should be challenged to explain why each step in the first aid treatment is important.
