Should research kangaroos and use their device with internet access to find out more about ‘diapause’ and why it is useful; should design a mammal family for a specific habitat (e.g. desert, ocean or forest) and justify how their life cycle helps them survive in their habitat; could choose an extension activity relating to mammal life cycles from the Resource: Stretch and challenge: Life cycles and reproduction.
