Support and challenge
Adults can use the opportunity to:
- Encourage the pupils to add additional features to their animal pens, like doors or food and water troughs, in the adult-led task.
- Help the pupils explore alternative ways of sorting the animals and prompt them to explain their choices (e.g. I have placed all the spotty animals in one group; these animals are similar because they are all babies).
