Support and challenge

Adults can use the opportunity to:

  • Consolidate the children’s understanding of pulling by re-enacting ‘The Enormous Turnip’ story in a small group.
  • Observe everyday pushes and pulls on a larger scale in the classroom or outdoor area, such as pulling open cupboard doors or pushing a trike.
