Support and challenge

Adults can use the opportunity to:

  • Talk to children about their personal experiences of melting and freezing, such as melting ice creams or frozen ice cubes in drinks.
  • Challenge the children to suggest alternative ways to stop ice cubes from melting or making chocolate melt faster.
