Could use the Activity: Sorting sources of light, which provides a list of items to sort into their table of sources of light or not sources of light; could draw their advice for how people should protect themselves from the Sun.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should justify which source of light they think is the most important by comparing it to other luminous objects; could use the results from the UV bead experiment and scientific vocabulary, such as opaque or transparent, to justify their advice about Sun safety; could choose an extension activity relating to light sources from the Resource: Stretch and challenge: Light and shadows.
