Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support

Could use the Resource: Leaf sorting word bank to describe the leaves and write the classification key questions; could use the Knowledge orgainser as an example of a classification key question.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could collect ten leaves instead of eight; should write their own questions rather than using the class suggestions; should have one or two questions removed in the Wrapping up activity and be challenged to work out what the questions could be.
