Recap and recall
Display ‘The vertebrate groups’ (slide 1) from the Presentation: Vertebrates and invertebrates. Select volunteers to drag and drop the vertebrates into the correct groups. Discuss the decisions made as a class, drawing on previous learning about the characteristics of each group. Repeat for ‘The invertebrate groups’ (slide 2).
