Should select items from the Activity: Quantity word sort pictures rather than source vocabulary from the dictionary; should determine feminine nouns by identifying items ending in ‘a’ in their singular form.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should research and sort additional food vocabulary into the table; should suggest items which could go in two different columns on the table, for example, cake, chocolate or pizza, where you might ask for part of a whole pizza, or several individual pizzas.
