Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support:
Could read their lines from their written travel diary from Lesson 5, rather than learning by heart; could, if using a video recording device, pause the recording after each sentence and practise the sentence aloud before pressing record again; could feedback on their evaluation orally rather than writing on the activity sheet.
Pupils working at greater depth:
Should add the questions ¿Adónde vas? – Where are you going to? and ¿Cómo vas? – How are you going?, into their roleplays (e.g. asking ¿Oscar, adónde vas? with the other partner answering El + [day name] + voy a + [country name], then asking ¿Oscar, cómo vas? with the other partner answering Voy en + [transport type]); should memorise their lines when performing their role plays; should perform with natural-sounding intonation and accurate pronunciation; should support their partner or group if they get stuck or make a mistake.
