Pupils needing extra support

Could use pre-cut paper or draw around plastic 2D shapes for their design; could use the Resource: Knowledge organiser: Shapes and colours for vocabulary support.

Pupils working at greater depth

Could label their design with phrases to describe each shape and use additional vocabulary, e.g. writing number words, animals and adjectives such as big or small.
