Could use the word bank from the Activity: Weather forecast gap fill: support version to select the missing words and phrases (this is broken up into numbered sections for ease of following along); could use the Resource: Knowledge organiser: Spanish – Weather in Spain to provide a visual aid for the vocabulary needed.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should aim to use their Spanish phoneme and grapheme knowledge to aim for accurate spellings while filling in the gaps in the Activity: Weather forecast gap fill; could attempt to read the whole activity transcript aloud in Spanish once the gaps have been filled; could aim to translate the Activity: Weather forecast gap fill by reading it aloud in English.
