Should use the Activity: Instructions for Maya ball game: support version during the Main event, which requires them to match each sentence with a drawing to support comprehension.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should apply new vocabulary learnt from translating the text to drawing a diagram with key elements labelled in Spanish, for example, the shape and parts of the court, and other helpful annotations. (The pen option could be used to demonstrate this, for example, by labelling the court’s zona final – end zone.)
