Recap and recall

Adjectives Display the Presentation: Adjectives recap, featuring the descriptive texts from the previous lesson. Invite the children to identify phrases that describe any black items. Inform them that there is one such phrase in each text.

Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support:

Should use Activity: Adjectives recap (support) during the Recap and recall; should use the Activity: Speed challenge: support version, during the Main event, which lists the meaning and gives examples of each type of adjective; should use the Knowledge organiser for extra vocabulary support during the Main event.

Pupils working at greater depth:

Should use more than one adjective joined with y – and, when describing the clothes in the Main event; should use some adjectives of their own choice sourced from a Spanish-English bilingual dictionary and apply the rules for changing adjectives according to the gender and number of the noun they describe.
