Before the lesson
This alternative theme provides a few ideas that can support you and your class in creating Easter-themed puppets based on our Year 1: Textiles: Puppets unit.

The bunny and chick puppets are made in the same way but with additional templates for decorations to bring the characters to life and to demonstrate how you can add layers of felt to a design to include more colours.
You will need:
- Felt sheets (assorted colours)
- Scissors
- PVA glue
- Stapler and staples
- Safety pins
Download and unzip the Activity pack: Easter puppet templates and choose from:
- Activity: Bunny add-ons or
- Activity: Chick add-ons
With a sheet of:
- Activity: Hand puppet template or
- Activity: Mitt template
